Bidstrap.

For auction houses

Your auction house. Plus every other Bidstrap house's bidders.

Live, timed, and Dutch auctions on your own brand and domain. Behind the scenes, a shared bidder pool — verified once, trusted everywhere — turns every other Bidstrap house's bidders into warm leads at yours.

By the numbers

What a shared bidder pool actually does.

Industry benchmarks against the alternative — every house going it alone, every vendor invoiced separately.

30–50%

Industry drop-off

Bidders who abandon at first-house registration. Form fatigue, identity re-uploads, sign-in friction.
~5%

Drop-off with shared identity

Bidders who already verified at any Bidstrap house register at yours in one click. The drop-off curve flattens.
1.6×

Spend lift from active alerts

Industry data: bidders with active follower-alerts spend 1.6× more than those without. Alerts default to the house where the bidder set them; cross-house matching is opt-in for the bidder. When they opt in, your lots reach bidders who set up at other houses too — mutual trade, never automatic.

Auction platforms with shareable cross-tenant collections

Bidders curate boards mixing lots from many houses, then share publicly. WhatsApp + Instagram traffic to your sale, for free. No competing platform ships this.
5–7

Vendors most houses still stitch together

Auction software + identity verification + valuations + AV + accountancy + marketing. £5–£20k a year for a mid-sized house, on top of the platform fee.

Invoice from Bidstrap

All of the above, bundled — or passed through at cost when external (Stripe, identity checks). One contract. One number a month.

The three guarantees

01

Your brand at the front

Your domain, your colours, your catalogue. Bidders browse, register, and bid in your shop window — not ours.

02

Bidders walk in pre-verified

Identity, KYC, and payment details verified once at Bidstrap and reused across every participating house. Less friction, fewer drop-offs at the bid form.

03

Trust signals travel

Verified-buyer badges, on-time-payment scores, and a shared fraud blocklist. A bidder's track record at any Bidstrap house counts at yours.

The Network

Bid once.
Bid everywhere.

Every Bidstrap auction house draws from one verified, trusted bidder base. Your house benefits the moment you join.

  1. i

    Verify once with Bidstrap

A bidder completes KYC at the first Bidstrap house they touch. At the next house, registration is one click — same identity, same verified status, no re-upload of passport scans.

  2. ii

    Reputation that carries

On-time-payment scores, dispute counts, and verified-buyer badges aggregate across every house. Good bidders are recognised everywhere they go; bad actors are blocked everywhere they try.

  3. iii

    Warm leads, not cold outreach

When a fine-art bidder at house A browses the cross-house marketplace and finds your sale, they arrive at your storefront already verified, already payment-ready. Your conversion rate compounds with every house that joins.

  4. iv

    Your VIPs stay yours

The shared pool shares trust signals, not contact data. No other house can list your bidders, market to them, or even see they exist as your customers. Cross-pollination only happens when the bidder themselves seeks it out.

Free demand

Your lots,
on every bidder's radar.

Four mechanics that put your sales in front of bidders who didn't yet know your house exists — without you running a marketing campaign for any of them.

  1. i

The shared marketplace, opt-in per auction

Lots you opt in get indexed at marketplace.bidstrap.com — searchable across the platform, faceted by category, price, location, artist. Bidders click through to your storefront to bid. The SEO authority of bidstrap.com feeds your lot pages, the cross-house search funnels demand to your sale. Premium analytics add-on adds granular controls (anonymise house name, geo-restrict, suppress specific lots).

  2. ii

Your bidders' alerts stay yours by default

Saved searches a bidder sets at your storefront fire on your future lots only — not your neighbours'. Cross-house matching is opt-in for the bidder, never opt-out. When they choose it, the trade is mutual: your matching lots appear on bidders set up at every other Bidstrap house, and theirs appear on yours. Bidder-driven, not platform-imposed. (Industry data: bidders with active alerts spend 1.6× more than those without.)

  3. iii

    Collections, shared into the wild

Bidders curate boards mixing lots from multiple houses — 'Asian ceramics', 'modern prints', 'things to show my partner'. Public collections get a shareable link with social-card preview. Posted in a WhatsApp group of collectors, your lot reaches non-bidders for free. No competing auction platform ships this today.

  4. iv

Fine art: artist pages + realised-price archive

Catalogue with structured artist, medium, and period and your lot appears on the Bidstrap-wide artist page — Hockney, Hepworth, every name a bidder might search. Your past sales feed the realised-price archive collectors return to for years; the consignors they bring you next season notice.

Plus: lot pages show “N bidders watching” counts pulled from the shared favourites system. Cross-house bid pressure, built in.

The honest split

Your shop window.
Our trust badge.

We don't pretend the network isn't there. The Bidstrap mark appears at the moments where the network is doing the work — and stays out of the way everywhere else.
